Safnasafnið - The Icelandic Folk and Outsider Art Museum - has an 67 m2 apartment available to rent for tourists. It has a separate entrance and is not connected to or involved in the daily function of the museum. It has features from its original construction and interior with some additional contemporary design. It consists of an entrance hall, bathroom, kitchen with 1 bed (200x120), a conjoined dining room and office with two single beds (196x886 / 172x75) and another room with a double bed and two smaller single beds (160x75 / 95x45)
Pets are not allowed and there is a no smoking rule. Residents need to seek agreement to invite staying guests. Bookings need to be confirmed by e-mail. The rent should be paid before by bank transfer or paid on arrival
The rent for the first night is: 155 € / for the second night: 145 € / for the third night: 135 € / and for the fourth night: 125 €. This covers internet connection, breakfast, bed linen and towels for 1 single bed, or 1 double bed. Linen and towels for extra bed cost 25€
The hosts are the Museum directors Níels Hafstein and Magnhildur Sigurðardóttir. They live in the building ajoining the museum
